It’s -somehow- officially September. Summer is coming to a close and fall fashions are starting to roll out!
I did quite a bit of shopping in August so I wanted to share some of my favorite finds. Not all of my finds were clothing – I discovered new skin and hair products, snacks, and even a couple home goods.
Let’s get into it!
J. Crew 1988 Rollneck Sweater | $79.50 | These sweaters are a true classic. You can layer them over and under anything! They’re made from a cotton/nylon blend. They are so warm and comfortable. Right now, J.Crew has them in about a dozen colors! A great staple for fall and winter. Old Navy has a similar sweater but you can really tell the difference in the quality. If you’re looking for a warm sweater to wear with anything, look no further than this rollneck!
Victoria Secret Lightweight Robe | $59.50 | I haven’t ordered this robe yet but it’s too cute. I’m big on leopard print for fall and love a good robe. This robe does have mixed reviews so I would proceed with caution! Unfortunately it is an online exclusive so you can’t check it out in store.
tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara | $23.00 | I have been using this mascara for years and it’d definitely one of my favorites. It’s vegan friendly and made without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate, and gluten. This mascara is often part of Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty event.
Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum | $45.00 | A friend recommended this to me a few months back and I finally got ahold of a bottom during Nordstrom’s Semi-Annual Sale. I have scars from bug bites (a downside to living on the water) and have been trying to find solutions to getting rid of the scars. I started using this every night since buying it and some of my darker scars have lightened or disappeared all together. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to minimize scar tissue!
Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil | $40.00 | My favorite heat-protecting hair spray was discontinued and I have been on the search for a replacement. This Bumble & Bumble Oil works so well. It’s a light spray and I use it primarily on my ends right after towel drying my hair. This keeps my hair soft and prevents frizz and damage!
scünci No Damage Scrunchies | $5.99 | Scrunchies are amazing. I use these for around the house and working out. I have never gotten bumps in my hair from using scrunchies. I use teleties and scrunchies in my hair to avoid bumps and knots!
K&J Reusable K-Cups | $7.95 | In my efforts to be more conscious about the products I use, I decided to try out reusable K-cups since I drink coffee every morning. On Sunday nights, I fill all of the cups with coffee and put them in the fridge until I use them. If you have a Keurig, I highly recommend looking into reusable coffee cups instead of wasting so many of those little plastic cups!
Lilly Pulitzer x S’Well Bottle | $42.00 | I was not a fan of S’Well bottles when they first came out because they don’t have straws or a suction drink. Also, the ice hits you in the face – I’m a child, I know. However, I have one from J.Crew and now this one. They do keep my water cold for hours at a time, which is amazing. Also, these patterns are so adorable!
